Gift Voucher Terms of Sale

  1. Gift Vouchers ("Vouchers") are sold by Skiddaw Croft B&B ("The Seller") to you, the Gift Voucher Purchaser ("The Purchaser"), to be redeemed when booking a stay at an accommodation ("The Accommodation Provider") subject to the following terms and conditions:

  2. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of sale, unless specified otherwise at the time of sale or in the confirmation email containing the 16-digit Voucher Code. Vouchers not used within this time will be forfeited with no entitlement to refund or exchange.

  3. Vouchers can only be redeemed online by booking DIRECTLY with The Seller using the Internet Booking Engine embedded on The Seller’s own website. (https://www.skiddawcroft.co.uk) The voucher code is required to be entered at time of confirming an online booking.

  4. No vouchers can be redeemed on site by an Accommodation Provider during your stay.

  5. Vouchers have no cash value and are not transferable or assignable and cannot be sold at auction.

  6. Vouchers can be used as full or part payment on reservations.

  7. A balance will be retained on the voucher if the redemption value is less than the voucher value.

  8. Whilst the voucher carries an unexpired balance on it, the voucher can be used for multiple bookings.

  9. Vouchers are redeemable only against accommodation costs. They may not be redeemed against incidental hotel costs or additional services.

  10. Reservations are subject to availability, at the Accommodation Provider’s discretion. Purchase of a voucher is not a guarantee of a reservation.

  11. The balance of a Voucher may be transferable in certain circumstances. The Accommodation Provider and/or The Seller has absolute discretion over this and may charge for this service if applicable.

  12. Vouchers are not refundable in cash. Vouchers are not replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen.

  13. Vouchers are dispatched by email and risk will pass to the customer when the email is sent and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full.

  14. The Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the email address is entered correctly at time of purchase. Please be aware that it is a system generated email and therefore may go to the email recipient's junk or spam email folder. The Seller and The Accommodation Provider accept no liability should any Voucher not be received.

  15. After a booking is made in whole or in part with a Voucher, if the guest cancels the booking, the booking remains subject to the normal cancellation policy of The Accommodation Provider; guests may be charged a cancellation fee.

  16. Where a booking is cancelled, either by The Accommodation Provider or Guest, within the cancellation policy attached to the rate type, part or all of the balance may be given or restored as a gift voucher balance, which shall remain valid until used or expired in accordance with these terms.

  17. The Seller and The Accommodation Provider shall not be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs in relation to a cancellation.

  18. The proceeds from the sale of gift vouchers are processed on behalf of The Seller by Stripe.com.

  19. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, any liability to supply services in accordance with the redemption of the balance on the voucher is a contract only between The Purchaser and The Seller. The Purchaser has no recourse to any third party providers such as the Accommodation Owner (if different from The Seller), Stripe.com, or Inn Style (Booking Solutions Limited), The Seller’s Internet Booking Engine who only acts as processor and Agent for The Seller and Accommodation Provider.

  20. The Seller reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
